Jeep Overview

In 2011 alone, the sale for Jeep went up by 63 percent and this is already taking into consideration the fact that in China is purchasing these vehicles at a higher price. Chrysler, the manufacturer of the Jeep, is looking into finding a partner in China.  They hope that they will be able to establish a manufacturing company for the Jeep in China. Once the company is successful in doing that, manufacture in China will take place and Jeep will become even more readily available to the Chinese market.
Chrysler is quickly working on this concern. The availability of the Jeep in a country with a population like China’s is of utmost importance to the company. The situation though is looking worse the longer it goes on. If Jeep cannot be manufactured in China meaning that it won’t be readily available, then there is a real possibility that consumers will lose interest and they will just look for the next best thing. If this happens, it could mean a big loss of market sales for Chrysler. We will just have to see where this goes, in a few month’s time, we should be able to determine how Jeep will fare in China.
